We are pleased to welcome Emma Hodgson to Family Law Complex Litigation Advocacy PLLC as a Paralegal.
She has extensive experience drafting pleadings and motions, conducting in-depth legal research, managing discovery, and supporting clients across civil and family law matters skills that make her a valuable addition to our team.
Emma earned her Juris Doctor from Tulane University Law School, where she also completed a Certificate in Maritime Law and received the Distinguished Scholars Award. During law school, she was active in Tulane Women in Law, OUTLAW, and the National Lawyers Guild, placed Second in the ADR Moot Court Competition, and broadened her global legal perspective through study abroad at Chuo University Law School in Tokyo, Japan.
Before attending law school, Emma graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and History. She held leadership roles in Student Government and Alpha Phi Sorority, and was recognized with multiple academic awards.
Emma’s legal experience spans state and federal courts, maritime law, civil rights advocacy, and family law. Her editorial work on Chinese Maritime Cases and her published fiction highlight the clarity, creativity, and precision she brings to legal writing.
