Position Summary

Family Law Complex Litigation Advocacy PLLC is seeking a highly organized and experienced Law Office Manager to lead the operational, administrative, and compliance functions of our litigation-focused family law practice. This role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, staff performance, financial oversight, and regulatory compliance across the firm.

The ideal candidate brings a structured management approach, strong leadership capabilities, and proven experience in law firm operations.

Core Responsibilities

Operations Management

  • Direct and oversee all daily administrative and operational functions
  • Implement and maintain standardized policies, procedures, and workflows
  • Ensure effective calendaring, docket control, and deadline management

Human Resources & Leadership

  • Supervise administrative, paralegal, and support staff
  • Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations
  • Enforce workplace standards, accountability, and professional conduct

Financial Administration

  • Oversee billing cycles, trust accounting coordination, and accounts receivable
  • Monitor budgets, expenses, and vendor contracts
  • Collaborate with external accounting and payroll providers

Compliance & Risk Control

  • Ensure compliance with Washington State Bar and court requirements
  • Maintain confidentiality, records retention, and internal controls
  • Identify operational risks and implement corrective measures

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of law office management or legal operations experience
  • Demonstrated leadership in a law firm environment
  • Strong knowledge of billing, trust accounting, and law firm compliance
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
