This position is designed for highly motivated law students seeking hands-on litigation experience. Interns will work side-by-side with senior attorneys on active cases, gaining exposure to every stage of the litigation process—from early legal research through trial preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and court databases
- Draft legal memoranda, case summaries, motions, and supporting briefs
- Assist senior attorneys with discovery, including document review and organization
- Help prepare exhibits, witness outlines, and trial binders
- Observe depositions, hearings, mediations, and court proceedings
- Participate in internal case strategy meetings with senior attorneys
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an ABA-accredited law school (1L, 2L, or 3L)
- Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
- Ability to synthesize complex legal issues into clear written arguments
- Excellent time management and attention to detail
- Professional communication and discretion with confidential matters
