Role Overview
This role is ideal for law students interested in family law, civil litigation, and client advocacy. Interns will gain meaningful exposure to client-facing legal work while being closely supervised and mentored by senior attorneys.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft pleadings, affidavits, declarations, and settlement summaries
- Conduct legal research on statutes, case law, and procedural rules
- Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, mediations, and trials
- Communicate with clients under attorney supervision
- Organize case files and assist with court filings
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Enrollment in an accredited law school
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of professionalism, empathy, and ethical judgment
- Ability to manage multiple assignments in a deadline-driven environment
- Interest in family law, civil litigation, or public service
