At Family Law Complex Litigation Advocacy PLLC, MaKenzie Moody brings a thoughtful and client-centered approach to her role as a Law Clerk (Juris Doctor Candidate). She works alongside attorneys on complex family law and litigation matters, providing support in legal research, document preparation, and case management. Her ability to manage detailed case information and communicate clearly with both legal teams and clients helps the firm deliver effective, compassionate representation during difficult family legal challenges.
Day to day, MaKenzie assists with drafting legal documents, organizing case materials, and supporting litigation strategy. Her strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail ensure that filings, discovery materials, and case documentation are consistently accurate and prepared efficiently. She collaborates closely with the firm’s attorneys, contributing to a seamless workflow and a high standard of client service.MaKenzie is in her final weeks of law school at Gonzaga University School of Law, where she will earn her Juris Doctor in May 2026. During her time at Gonzaga Law, she received a Merit Scholarship, competed on the Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Team (2025–26), won a USPTO Conference Trademark Competition, and was a finalist in the Gonzaga Moot Court Client Counseling Competition. These experiences sharpened her legal writing, analytical thinking, and oral advocacy skills.Beyond her legal training, MaKenzie holds a Master of Science in Psychology with an emphasis in Forensic Psychology from the University of Louisiana Monroe and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Whitworth University. Her background in forensic psychology gives her a unique lens on human behavior, conflict resolution, and victim advocacy assets that serve her well in the emotionally nuanced field of family law.
